Effective July 14, 2026, The Women’s Specialists has become an independent care center under Unified Women’s Health of Texas.

Unified Women’s Healthcare is a leading, nationwide women’s healthcare company. They partner with independent practitioners to help ensure quality experiences and outcomes throughout every part of a patient’s healthcare journey.

The Women’s Specialists will remain the same independent clinic you have known through the years with the same mission we have always had, just under the umbrella of a larger group of healthcare providers dedicated to serving women with the highest quality of care possible. 😊 🙌

📣 New cancellation policy 📣
Effective Monday, August 3, 2026 we will begin charging a $50 no show fee for no shows or cancellations without adequate 24 hr notice. We know there may be extenuating circumstances and emergencies that happen and will handle those on a case by case basis. Please reach out to us if that is the case. As much as we hate to have to initiate this policy, it has become necessary with the increasing volume we are seeing in the clinic. No shows take a spot away from another patient waiting to be able to make an appointment. Thank you for your understanding.

We have some big changes coming this week at the Women’s Specialists office. 🙌Our team will be switching over to a new medical records system (Athena) & we anticipate this to be a very positive change! A new patient portal will be available to our patients moving forward. We feel like this will be a great way to streamline your healthcare and allow our patients to be more involved. Yes, there will be a learning curve, so bear with us, but we hope you find this to be a helpful tool to allow you to have more control over your health information!
