It’s that wonderful time of year again! RGTC Mobile Lab Service & RGTC Training Center are continuing our annual tradition of giving back to families in our community.

This year, we’re excited to welcome Coastal Drug Alcohol & DNA Testing Center as our newest partner! ❤️

Our goal is to provide Christmas blessings to at least 10 families with children ages 0–10 throughout Texas City, La Marque, and surrounding Galveston County communities.

🎁 DONATIONS NEEDED:

🧸 New toys for boys and girls ages 0–10
🧥 New coats, hats & socks
👶 Diapers & baby wipes
🎄 Small Christmas trees, lights & ornaments
💳 Gift cards for parents and guardians
🦃 Christmas dinner donations, including turkeys, hams & nonperishable food items

💥 YOU CAN COLLECT THE PERFECT URINE SAMPLE… AND STILL HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR COLLECTION! 😳

YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT! 👀

Just because you successfully collected a specimen doesn’t mean your job is finished!

🧪 DRUG SCREEN COLLECTORS, PAY ATTENTION!

One small mistake in specimen handling, documentation, or chain of custody can create BIG problems!

🚨 COLLECTION REMINDERS:

✅ Verify the donor’s identity using approved identification procedures.

✅ Explain the collection process while maintaining professionalism and privacy.

✅ Follow the correct DOT or Non-DOT collection procedures.

✅ Check specimen temperature within the required timeframe. For DOT urine collections, the acceptable range is 90°F–100°F.

✅ Properly label and seal specimens in the donor’s presence.

✅ Complete all required chain-of-custody documentation.

✅ Follow the appropriate procedures for observed collections when required.

✅ Never prelabel specimens or guess missing information!
