Hand injuries and disorders can significantly impact daily life, work, and independence, and in the Bronx community, they constitute a large volume of cases.

At BronxCare, two experienced hand surgeons—Dr. Sepideh Baghian, Vice Chair of Orthopaedics & Chief of Hand Surgery, and Dr. Fillip Findling, Associate Chief of Hand Surgery—perform hundreds of procedures annually with great success. They treat a wide range of conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger fingers, as well as major hand and wrist reconstructions for arthritis and other deformities. Traumatic hand repairs and reconstruction also make up a high volume of the cases.
