Yesterday, our team from Lincoln Hospital joined the 44th annual National Dominican Day Parade on Sixth Avenue. It was a great afternoon spent celebrating Dominican culture, achievement, and legacy alongside our community.

The parade is a wonderful showcase of Dominican heritage. We always appreciate the opportunity to step outside the hospital walls, connect with our neighbors, and share in the pride of the people we care for.

If your home doesn't have reliable air conditioning, please don't risk it. Lincoln Hospital is welcoming community members to sit, cool off, and hydrate in a safe environment.

Reminder: Heat exhaustion can sneak up on you. Watch out for symptoms like heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, and weakness. If you feel unwell, seek air conditioning immediately.

Today was a beautiful day of giving back!

In honor of the 44th Anniversary of the National Dominican Day Parade in NYC, NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln partnered with Goya Foods for a massive community food distribution! Ensuring our neighbors have access to nourishing meals is at the very heart of our mission to care for the whole person.

A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers and beyond who came together today to pack bags and support the families we serve.

Lincoln Hospital is proud to partner with Goya Foods for a community food distribution on August 4th at 11:00 AM, right here at Lincoln. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Goya for their incredible generosity in nourishing our neighborhood.

In celebration of the National Dominican Day Parade in New York City, Goya Foods is donating 20,000 pounds of non-perishable Goya products to families served by NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Volunteers from Lincoln Hospital, Goya Foods and the National Dominican Day Parade will distribute thousands of bags of food to local families in need. This generous donation is part of Goya’s initiative, honoring Dominican culture and heritage during the celebrations for the 44th Anniversary of the National Dominican Day Parade.
