Welcome to Our Space: Kitchen Edition! 👨‍🍳🍂 Our resident Roberta gets a first taste of our chef’s newest fall-inspired dishes.

First up: pumpkin mousse! You can make your own version with pumpkin purée, whipped cream, powdered sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
👨‍🍳 Chef tip: Serve it in a fancy glass to elevate the presentation.

Each year, we look forward to coming together for the Hebrew Home at Riverdale Foundation Anniversary Gala to celebrate the innovations and accomplishments that continue to shape our care for older adults.

Part of what makes this evening so special is the opportunity to recognize someone who has made a true impact on our organization. This year, we’re proud to honor RiverSpring Living Vice Chairman Andrew L. Gaines, who has served on our Board of Trustees for 15 years. Andy’s insights and expertise have been instrumental as we continue to grow and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s seniors.

And with family as this year’s theme, we have a few fun surprises in store! Helping us bring the evening together as our master of ceremonies is Barry Williams, best known as America’s favorite big brother, Greg Brady, from the original Brady Bunch series.

Here’s to an evening centered around the power of family, community, and 109 years of care.

A well-deserved recognition for our Senior Curator, Emily O’Leary! 👏

Emily and the Derfner Judaica Museum + Art Collection, located on our campus, received a Greater Hudson Heritage Network Award for Excellence for their work preserving and sharing the legacy of Stuart Edelson, a New York based LGBTQ artist.

Through original research, an exhibition, and a digital guide, Emily brought new attention to Edelson’s life and work, including his bronze sculpture, “Memory Object” which is now on view at the museum on our campus!
