It's a Spooktacular Health Fair! Join us on Saturday, October 24, from 1:00-4:00pm at the Ellenville Hospital (10 Healthy Way, Ellenville, NY). There will be health screenings and resources, trick-or-treating, music, yoga, games and activities.

We’re excited to be joining the 2026 Disability Pride NYC Parade: Together We Build on Sunday, October 18, 2026, in New York City!

This year’s Parade is especially meaningful as we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1977 Section 504 Sit-in, a landmark moment in disability rights history. The 26-day sit-in helped pave the way for the implementation of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, one of the most important civil rights protections for disabled people in the United States.

We’ll be joining disability organizations, advocates, artists, community members, and allies from across the city to honor this history, celebrate the disability community, and continue building a more accessible and equitable future. We will have a table with health information and resources. Be sure to stop by and say hello!

The parade starts at 10:00am at Madison Square Park. We hope to see you there!

Shout-out to our providers who presented at the 2026 Family Medical Education Consortium (FMEC) annual meeting in Atlantic City, New Jersey last week! Across the multi-day conference, Institute residents and faculty offered eleven different sessions and trainings in education, family medicine and health equity-related topics, ranging from menopause care to screening and management of chronic kidney disease.
