⚡️ Numbness or tingling in your arm or leg?
The place where you feel the symptom isn't always where the problem is coming from.
Nerves travel from your spine throughout your body. When a nerve becomes irritated or compressed, it can cause symptoms along the path of that nerve—including pain, numbness, tingling, burning, or even weakness.
For example, irritation of a nerve in the neck can sometimes cause symptoms into the shoulder, arm, or hand. Similarly, irritation of nerves in the lower back can cause symptoms that travel into the hip, buttock, leg, or foot.
That’s why simply treating the area that hurts may not tell the whole story.
If you’re experiencing persistent or recurring numbness, tingling, or pain that travels into an arm or leg, it’s worth finding out where those symptoms may be coming from. 🩻
Your symptoms are giving you information. Don't ignore them.
