⚠️ Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common type of skin cancer, with an estimated 1.8 million cases diagnosed each year — about 205 every hour.

SCC often develops from cumulative UV damage and may appear as a scaly patch, non-healing sore, rough bump, or wart-like growth. While many cases are highly treatable when caught early, untreated SCC can grow deeper and spread.

☀️ daily sun protection matters:

✔️ wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+

✔️ seek shade and wear protective clothing

✔️ avoid tanning beds

✔️ schedule regular skin checks and monitor for changing or non-healing spots
