Touchstone clinical leaders recently attended and presented at the Council of Autism Service Providers - CASP Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Grant Gautreaux and Dr. Francis Hwang presented on Touchstone's school based services model and Dr. Hwang, Dr. Tricia Clement, and Danica Savoie presented on AI innovations for peer review preparation. We love the opportunity to learn and grow as well as share our growth with others!

Touchstone had a busy weekend giving back to our communities for Autism Acceptance Month! Our Lafayette and Hammond staff volunteered at autism acceptance fairs with Autism Society of Acadiana and Magnolia Rose Foundation.

Happy Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Touchstone BCBA's Bobbie Lorenzo and Grant Gautreaux recently attended a D.C. Fly In with the Council of Autism Service Providers - CASP. They met with the offices of John Kennedy, Julia Letlow, Clay Higgins, Bill Cassidy, and Cleo Fields to discuss important issues affecting access to care for the autism community. What a great way to kick off the month than with these advocacy efforts!

What a great way to wrap up World Behavior Analysis Day and celebrate World Down Syndrome Day than by participating and volunteering with Upside Downs for the 3.21 Down Syndrome Dash. Thank you to all who came out and thank you to Upside Downs for all you do for our community!

As the World Behavior Analysis Day celebration week continues, we would like to take some time to recognize the incredible work of our Behavior Technicians! Our Technicians provide direct services to clients by implementing the treatment plans written by our Licenced Behavior Analysts. Every day, they provide support to our clients and help them to achieve skills in communication, independence, social skills, and functional play.
