Chris will be heading to Mayo end of October for 3 weeks, out patient multiple therapies .Hopefully get some answers for ways to treat his FND and make him better, it's hard for him to not know what his day will be until he wakes up.Will he have ability to talk, make his arms and legs cooperate so he can move them, or if he's lost track of time,if he has lost the ability to know /remember what day it is.

Chris recently had surgery to fix his bulging disc in his lumbar area which completely took away the pain he was experiencing in his right hip to his foot.

One great bit of news is, Chris got a call from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. After his restrictions are lifted, he can call back and set up his rehab visit. It is a 3 week intensive rehab program, Monday through Friday, where he will be working with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy etc.

Chris, Elizabeth, and Chayse will head down to Rochester for three weeks. We are so grateful for the neurologist he saw in Fargo. Any improvement from this will be a blessing.

We hope to be able to do this over the summer.

This explains so simply what is actually going on in the brain of an FND patient. Please take a look. FND is not just in someone's head. It's not just a mental disorder. These patients aren't looking for attention. It is a real disorder. It's also progressive.

After Chris Donarski did his inpatient EEG, the neurologist got a referral to the Mayo Clinic for a consult for a rehab program. We are really glad we got answers, good answers, and finally are on the right track.

Here's an update to what's happening in Chris's journey, he is scheduled in april to have facet injections into his lumbar joints to hopefully help with better pain control. Chris is also scheduled for his first appointment at Mayo Clinic with the goal of checking into their rehab program for FND. The findings of his extended EEG confirmed he doesn't have epilepsy, it was also confirmed and diagnosed as severe FND with PNES( Psychogenic. Non-Epileptic. Seizures). Getting setup with the right care and treatment is starting to fall into place.

Today is finally here!

Chris is admitted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo for his extended EEG to see if he's having any type of seizure activity. We expect him to stay for 3-5 days.
