SHOP TILL YOU DROP! 🛒🛍️

In honor of National Thrift Shop Day on August 17th, our dining room was transformed into the Camellia Thrift Shop, where residents enjoyed browsing and shopping! This activity brought out many residents and staff members who enjoyed browsing the selection. 🙂

🎉 We are proud to announce our July 2026 Whatever It Takes Champions winner, Kimberly Peters! She is a valuable member of our Dietary team and demonstrates leadership, reliability, and professionalism in the kitchen and makes our residents' dining experience enjoyable. 💗

We went back to school at Camellia Gardens of Life Care with a fun-filled week of classroom-inspired activities! 📚✏️

Our residents posed for yearbook photos, made funnel cakes in home economics, created root beer floats in science, built wooden photo frames in shop class and played Granny Pants Toss in physical education. We also enjoyed reminiscing and sharing wonderful memories from our own school days!

Dearest Mother and Father, here I am at Camp Camellia! 🏕️☀️🛶 Our residents recently enjoyed a nostalgic Summer Camp themed week, which included camp games, a picnic, tie-dye shirts, and "roasting" marshmallows around the campfire to make s'mores! 🤩

🚐 We have loved being able to resume our bus rides. Whether we go to get ice cream 🍦, enjoy a special event, or just ride around the country, it is the highlight of our week! 😀

We would like to wish a very special happy birthday to our very own Ms. Eva Frazier! 🥳 She is celebrating her 101st birthday. When asked what her secret to longevity is, Ms. Eva replied, "Serve God!" ❤️

🇺🇸 Our residents recently celebrated America's 250th birthday with an All-American week-long celebration featuring sweet treats, a bus trip to get ice cream 🍦, and Elvis 🕺!

🎉 The week culminated in a patriotic party and the announcing of our office door decorating contest winners (way to go, Activities Department!).
