Wilson, the cemetery is a beautifully maintained memorial park supported by a perpetual trust, creating a lasting place of remembrance and community beauty.

Located in Thomasville, Holly Hill Memorial Park was thoughtfully designed with flat bronze markers, walkways, and landscaped grounds that provide families with a peaceful setting for reflection and healing. The cemetery offers a variety of memorialization options, including traditional burial, cremation memorials, columbaria, and personalized tributes that honor each life in a meaningful and lasting way.

Beyond serving families, Holly Hill remains deeply committed to the local community through meaningful events and opportunities for remembrance throughout the year. Community gatherings such as Lantern Nights, Sidewalk Chalk Art events for children, and an annual Christmas Candlelight help families come together to honor loved ones, reflect, and heal. Their heartfelt Letters to Heaven station also provides visitors with a unique and comforting way to express messages, memories, and love to those they miss most.

Richmond County Memorial Park Cemetery, a proud NCCA member, has a rich history of service to families in Richmond County and the surrounding communities. Founded on June 1, 1951 by Joseph L. Sibley, the park became Richmond County’s first perpetual care cemetery, providing families with the assurance of ongoing care and maintenance for generations to come.

Located on 28 beautifully landscaped acres between Rockingham and Hamlet, Richmond County Memorial Park offers a peaceful setting for remembrance and reflection. The cemetery is home to several cherished landmarks, including a historic Italian-imported fountain installed in 1952, the beloved pond and ducks that have welcomed generations of visitors since the park’s founding, and the Singing Tower, dedicated in 1956, which continues to play peaceful music throughout the grounds.

Over the decades, Richmond County Memorial Park has continued to grow to meet the needs of families, including the addition of a mausoleum and climate-controlled chapel in 1971, as well as a dedicated Veterans section established in 1999 to honor those who served our country.

Beyond the beauty of the grounds, the park remains deeply committed to the local community through volunteerism, partnerships with caregivers and veterans organizations, and long-standing traditions such as annual Easter sunrise services that once welcomed thousands of attendees.

With a mission centered on compassion, respect, and support, Richmond County Memorial Park continues to provide comfort and guidance to families during life’s most difficult moments while preserving a legacy of care that spans more than 70 years.

The Hebrew Cemetery Association offers traditional, green, and cremation burial options while providing guidance for both advanced planning and services at the time of need. NCCA Members: Registration is now open for the 2026 Tri-State Regional Convention!

We are excited to share that the 2026 Tri-State Regional Convention is expanding in a big way. What began as a collaboration among Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi is now growing to include Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, creating an even stronger regional gathering of cemetery professionals from across the Southeast.

For our North Carolina Cemetery Association members, this is a great opportunity to represent our state, strengthen relationships with fellow professionals, and connect with industry leaders and decision-makers from six states. With expanded reach comes expanded opportunity for networking, education, visibility, and business growth.

Hosted by the Association of Alabama Cemeteries, this year’s convention will take place at the beautiful Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa. A setting that combines productive convention programming with true Southern hospitality.

Sharon Memorial Park, a proud NCCA member, was founded in 1939 and is situated on 140 beautifully landscaped acres along Monroe Road in Charlotte. Designed with beauty and tranquility in mind, the park features sparkling lakes, scenic walkways, elegant Italian marble statues, European artwork, and a peaceful, garden-like setting for remembrance.

Sharon Memorial Park offers a wide variety of burial, entombment, and cremation options, including traditional ground burial, lawn crypts, community and private mausoleum entombment, private lakeside estates, cremation benches, and cremation niches, allowing families to create personalized final resting places that reflect their wishes and values.

A unique feature of the cemetery is the Holy Redeemer Catholic Garden, a dedicated space for Catholic families located along a tranquil pond. Centered around a Holy Redeemer Crucifix atop a 96-niche cremation columbarium, the garden is designed to serve generations of families while honoring faith and tradition.

At the heart of the park stands Sharon Mausoleum, a magnificent structure completed in 1950 and designed by architect Cecil E. Bryan. With Romanesque architecture, a Spanish-style tiled roof, and stone imported from Doria, Italy, the mausoleum reflects the timeless beauty of the churches and monasteries of Tuscany and includes a light-filled chapel for committal services.

Guided by the vision of founder Dr. William L. Halberstadt, Sharon Memorial Park was created to be a place of quiet beauty. An everlasting garden that tells the story of a life and evokes lasting memories.
