We had such a fantastic time at our recent Jack-o'-lantern veggie cup social with residents and staff! 🎃✨ The creativity and fun were on full display as everyone got involved in crafting their own delicious and spooky snacks. It was a great way to celebrate the season, enjoy some healthy treats, and share lots of laughter. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the event a memorable one! Join us for a spooktacular Trunk or Treat event on October 30th from 4 PM to 7 PM! Bring your family and friends for an evening filled with fun, candy, and creativity. Decorate your car and get ready to welcome little ghouls and goblins as they make their way through our cars for treats. It’s a safe and exciting way to celebrate Halloween! Thornton Care Center will be celebrating National Dog Day by hosting a fundraiser for Basecamp Eden. This organization focuses on rescuing wolf dogs and horses from high-risk situations. If this organization wasn't already an inspiration, they also support veterans living with PTSD by supporting them in creating meaningful connections. 100% of proceeds go back to this organization as they recover from the Aspen Fire. Come grab a Chicago dog and a bag of chips for $6.00; can't wait to see you there!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Art with a Heart! What a fun and meaningful evening celebrating creativity, community, and the incredible talent of our residents.

We are so grateful to everyone who attended, supported the silent auction, shopped with our local artisans, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success. Events like this truly show the heart of our senior living network.

Art with a Heart is bringing beautiful artwork, handmade treasures, local vendors, delicious food, and a whole lotta heart to Aviva at Fitzsimons. ✨

What an amazing way to wrap up Nursing Home week! We ended on a high note with a spectacular balloon making extravaganza that brought so much joy to our residents. From dazzling balloon animals to whimsical hats and even a majestic Phoenix, the creativity was truly inspiring. Residents expressed that this was the highlight of the week, and their smiles said it all! We're already planning to invite these talented balloon artists back around the holidays—what a fantastic way to spread some festive cheer!!!!
