The number 108 holds profound significance in Yoga, it represents wholeness, connection, and the relationship between the individual self and the universe.
Sun Salutations, the moving asana, traditionally performed to honor the sun, the source of light, warmth, energy, and life itself.
Combining the two:
*you create a practice that transcends physical challenge.
*a moving meditation where breath and movement converge.
*This practice offers an opportunity to release what no longer serves you, creating space for new intentions, while honoring the energy of the sun that sustains all living things.
*It reminds us that transformation occurs one breath, one movement, and one moment at a time.
On Saturday, June 20th, we will merge these two elements to celebrate the Summer Solstice on the 21st. As you move through your practice, it will not be about achieving perfection or completing all 108 repetitions without modification. Rather, it is about showing up, honoring your current state, and allowing the repetition to reveal both your strength and softness.
Join our community at 9:30 am, for a donation based practice of 9 sets of 12 salutations. Move at your own pace, modify as needed, and challenge your perspective on what you are capable of!
