Apparently, this sketchbook-style AI character trend has officially made its way to my feed… so naturally, I had to try it. 😂

What’s funny is I believe that this weirdly captures me well:

The psychologist.
The speaker.
The truth-teller.
The deep conversations.
The leadership work.
The intensity.
The strategy brain.
The golf obsession.
The “high standards but also laughing at myself” energy.

Somehow it also managed to include:
☕ caffeine
🎤 stages
🧠 nervous system work
🏌️ golf
💪 lifting
📚 notebooks everywhere
…and at least 14 versions of me looking like I’m about to challenge someone’s limiting beliefs, including my own.

Honestly? It feels like an illustrated map of how I move through the world.

This Tuesday might be the easiest “yes” you’ve been putting off.

We’re meeting for Mic Drop Club—and this one has a little extra built in:

This isn’t just conversation or open sharing.

Mic Drop Club is structured, skill-based practice—and this session, we’re focusing on how to use gestures and skill stacking to make your message more memorable.

Not more “polished.”
More effective.

You’ll practice:

• using your body intentionally when you speak
• layering simple techniques so your message actually sticks
• experimenting in real time (without having to get it perfect)

And just as important—the room itself.

You’ll be surrounded by women who are engaged, encouraging, and willing to show up and try.

She nailed the deliverables.

The client was thrilled. She was relieved.
And she felt nothing.

No satisfaction. No celebration. Just the immediate push toward what is next.

This is what happens when the nervous system has been running in activation mode for so long that it can no longer complete its own recovery cycle. Chronic depletion makes the capacity to experience fulfillment unreachable.

This is the work I do every day as a psychologist and founder of Embodied Narrative Leadership™. I work with women who are accomplished, driven, and conditioned to push through — so conditioned, in fact, that the smaller signals the body sends long before the crisis get ignored, overridden, or missed entirely. Until one day, they are on the verge of a complete breakdown.

Success and struggle share the same address more often than anyone admits.
The women I work with are driven, accomplished, and deeply purposeful. They are also exhausted. Operating on chronic nervous system activation. Burning from the inside out. Quietly disillusioned by the very work they once loved.
Both things. True at the same time.

This is the conversation no one wants to have out loud — and the one I've built my entire body of work around. As a psychologist specializing in Embodied Narrative Leadership™, I've sat across from women who have the titles, the track record, and the influence — and who are still asking themselves, in the quiet moments, how much longer can I keep doing this?

That question deserves more than a wellness tip. It deserves a room full of women willing to name it together.

In less than two weeks from today, we’re back in the room for Mic Drop Club.

And this one is going to feel a little different.

It falls on Cinco de Mayo 🇲🇽, and to celebrate, we’re bringing a little more energy, a little more fun, Mexican food, and something extra for those who show up.

Event planners want more women on stage.

And women are still underrepresented.

From what I see, it’s rarely about experience or qualifications.

It’s that most women were never taught how to pitch themselves in a way that gets them booked.

I see this all the time.

Women who are doing meaningful work, who could absolutely hold a room—but when it comes to putting themselves forward, it either doesn’t happen or it gets buried in too many words.

I’ve had to learn this myself.

Knowing your work and being able to communicate it clearly enough for someone to say “yes, we want her” are two different things.

That’s why I’m sharing the Speak on Stage Bootcamp.

It’s a live training for women who want to turn what they know into a talk—and understand how to position and pitch it so it actually connects to opportunities.

A space for women to get more comfortable using their voice in everyday life.

• being a role model for other women who are still finding their voice

Event planners want more women on stage.

That’s not the issue.

Many women haven't learned how to talk about what they do in a way that translates into a speaking opportunity.

I see this all the time.

Brilliant, experienced women who have something real to say—but when it comes to pitching themselves, they over-explain, undersell, or don’t do it at all.

I’ve been there.

I could talk about my work all day, but there was a time when I couldn’t say it cleanly enough for it to land, especially in a way that made someone think, "We should book her."

That’s a skill set.

And no one really teaches it.

That’s why I’m sharing the Mic Drop Academy Speak on Stage Bootcamp.

A few years ago, someone asked me, “What do you speak about?”

And I remember thinking—I should have a better answer to that.

I knew the things I talked about.
I just couldn’t say it in a way that landed.
I would take too long to explain it, and it wouldn’t be completely clear.

And I see this all the time with the women I work with.

They have depth, experience, and something real to say, but when it comes to turning that into a talk, it’s hard to make it clear and concise.

Our next Mic Drop Club meeting is right around the corner, and it’s not too late to join us.

A lot of people hear the name and assume this is about public speaking or giving speeches.

It’s really not.
It’s about getting more comfortable using your voice in everyday life.

That might look like:

• speaking up to your boss instead of staying quiet
• running a meeting without second-guessing yourself
• sharing an idea instead of holding it in
• being a role model for other women who are learning to use their voices too

We practice in simple, real-life ways.
No stage. No spotlight. No pressure to perform.
Just women practicing, supporting each other, and building comfort over time.
