A guide to Air Purifiers 👆🏻

Air quality is not an issue just because of the fires. City pollution and the contaminants inside our homes are also a daily burden. Clean air is just as important as clean food and water.

I personally use IQair and Intellipure
(not sponsored, I have bought and used their purifiers for years)

Our hearts are breaking for our Topanga, Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, Pasadena, Sierra Madre neighbors. I’m at a loss for words to describe the devastation from the LA Fires. I do not know the origins of this quote, but I hope it inspires us all to come together for LA and exemplify what it means to be

Cure yourself with the light of the sun and the rays of the moon.
With the sound of the river and the waterfall.
With the swaying of the sea and the fluttering of birds.
Heal yourself with mint, with neem and eucalyptus.
Sweeten yourself with lavender, rosemary, and chamomile.
Hug yourself with the cocoa bean and a touch of cinnamon.
Put love in tea instead of sugar, and take it looking at the stars.
Heal yourself with the kisses that the wind gives you and the hugs of the rain.
Get strong with bare feet on the ground and with everything that is born from it.
Get smarter every day by listening to your intuition, looking at the world with the eye of your forehead.
Jump, dance, sing, so that you live happier.
Heal yourself, with beautiful love, and always remember,
you are the medicine.

Hanging on our wall is a handwritten note from Beau’s mentor and Pepperdine Coach, Marv Dunphy.
The note reads, “Gratitude is memory of the heart.”

As the days, weeks, months and years have gone by, it never ceases to stop me in my tracks.
Such powerful medicine.
