Sometimes moving forward starts with letting go.
After years of fighting to save his foot, Todd was exhausted by the pain, infections, and constant hospital visits caused by diabetes-related complications that had become part of daily life.
Facing amputation brought many unknowns, but Todd never had to face them alone.
Surrounded by compassionate care teams at Hanger Clinic and North Memorial Health, and strengthened by the unwavering support of his family, Todd began reclaiming not only his mobility, but also the confidence, independence, and quality of life he had been missing for years.
Today, with the help of his below-knee prothesis, Todd is back to being the active grandfather he always wanted to be, attending soccer games, traveling, boating, and creating new memories with the people he loves most.
