Although a great experience and quick to climb the ladder of success, there was the feeling of something milling in my life. I came to the realization that my passion was in people & making a difference in their lives. This was the turning point in my life. My mother being a western medical nurse, I was familiar with putting the needs of others before yourself. After the .com crash and things shifting in 'my' corporate America, I wanted a change. In 2001 I enrolled at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI), the Country’s First and only Nationally Accredited Program. While in residency, I became interested in ‘Alternative Medicine’ utilizing the body, mind, spirit as a whole. I believe holistic medicine focuses on restoring balance to one’s mind-body-spirit connection, where as Western Medicine is symptom or branch based. Upon graduating, I began to explore additional holistic therapies, going hand-in-hand with hypnotherapy. Reiki and reflexology are two additional modalities or healing methods I incorporate in my healing practice to complete the mind-body-spirit circle. I wanted to take my healing practice one step further by incorporating the respected ancient healing principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I enrolled at YoSan University – Los Angeles, CA. After four years of intense study, I graduated with a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, L.Ac. Diplomat Oriental Medicine (Dipl. My mission as a holistic practitioner is to promote and facilitate a healthy balance between mind-body-spirit for my patients.
