Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11 has been approved for emergency authorization use by the FDA and CDC. We have received our first shipment of vaccines for children ages 5-11 and continue to carry the Covid vaccine for children 12 and above as well. Please call our office at 805-499-5525 if you are interested in scheduling an appointment for your children ages 5 and above. Flu shots have arrived at CCMG! Please call to schedule flu vaccines (flu shot or FluMist) for your children. Flu vaccines are recommended for children 6 months of age and older.

We are happy to announce all of the CCMG physicians have successfully been vaccinated against COVID19. We received both doses with only minimal side effects. Almost all of our staff has also been vaccinated thanks to Ventura County.

As of April 15, 2021, ANYONE 16 AND OLDER in Ventura County is able to schedule a COVID19 vaccine. We recommend vaccination, including nursing mothers.

We have a rapid point-of-care Covid-19 test that is now available to our patients. It is performed in our office with a nasal swab and is a test for detection of acute/current infection with Covid-19. The results would be available in 15 minutes and the cost for this test is $75. Please call our office if you have any questions.

Hi CCMG families! Injectable flu vaccine (age 6 mo and above) and Flumist (ages 2 and above) for 2020-2021 Flu Season are now available for our patients. The vaccines contain coverage for 4 influenza strains this year and are preservative (thimerosal) free. The CDC does not have a preference for either vaccine, but Flumist is contraindicated with certain medical conditions. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic we are trying something new this year for our flu clinics. We are piloting a program to have you remain in the car in a designated parking spot with your children. You will text a number (that will be provided on a sign in front of the designated parking spot) to let us know you have arrived and include your name, how many patients are receiving vaccines, and the make/color of your car. To streamline vaccine administration, please have your child older then age 1 wear short sleeves, and your child under age 1 have shorts/legs exposed. We may need to have you help us hold little hands during the injections. In addition, please have everyone in the car age 2 years and above wear a mask or face covering.
