Assured Imaging's Mobile 3D Mammography Unit is coming to La Clinica del Pueblo in Tierra Amarilla on Monday October 19, 2026 from 8AM to 5PM.

That means no long drive. No trip to Santa Fe or Albuquerque. A potentially life-saving screening right here in your community.

Why this matters:

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States. In rural communities like ours, access to screening is one of the biggest barriers to early detection — and early detection is everything. When breast cancer is caught early the survival rate is over 99%. When it is caught late, that number drops dramatically.

A 3D mammogram gives your provider a clearer, more detailed image than a traditional mammogram — meaning fewer false alarms and better detection of small tumors.

You are eligible if you:

🩷 Are at least 40 years old
🩷 Have not had a mammogram in the past year
🩷 Have no current breast problems or complaints

School is almost back — and so is the rush to get everything ready.

La Clinica is here to help with all of it. And if you have not made it to the Back to School Bash yet — we will see you TOMORROW, Saturday August 1st from 10AM to 1PM for free sports physicals, immunizations, screenings and more.

Before the first bell rings, here are five things that will make a real difference for your student this year:

1. Get the sports physical done. Required for most fall activities and easy to miss until the last minute.
2. Check immunizations. Make sure your child is up to date before school starts.
3. Schedule a back to school check-up. Catch anything that has changed over the summer.
4. Talk about mental health. Ask your child how they are feeling about going back — and really listen.
5. Establish a sleep routine now. Start shifting bedtimes a week before school begins.
