Walk With a Doc 👟🩺💙

It was an amazing morning to kick off the Walk With a Doc event in Tiffin, Ohio!

Dr. Zachary K. West of the Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, LLC was joined by several individuals at Hedges-Boyer Park (Tiffin, Ohio) where he was able to discuss a health topic and enjoy an early morning walk with attendees!

Walk With a Doc events take place the second Saturday of every month at 9:00 AM and are free and open to all.

Take a step toward better health with Chamber & Development member, Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, LLC! 🚶‍♀️💙

Dr. Zachary K. West is bringing the internationally recognized Walk With A Doc program to Tiffin, giving community members the opportunity to enjoy a free walk, ask health questions, and connect with others while getting active. The first walk will take place Saturday, August 8 at 9 AM, kicking off from the Moose Shelter at Hedges-Boyer Park, with walks continuing on the second Saturday of each month. No registration is required, and everyone is welcome.

A special thank you to Tiffin Park & Recreation for providing the space and shelter at Hedges-Boyer Park to help make this community wellness initiative possible.

Happy Birthday Dr. Andrew Taylor Still! 🥳

On this day in 1828, Andrew Taylor Still was born in Lee County, Virginia. Nearly five decades later, he would found osteopathic medicine, a philosophy of care that treats the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Today we honor his legacy and the generations of osteopathic physicians who carry it forward.

✨Seneca County Fair | Celebrity Sheep Showing 🐑 ✨

Dr. Zachary K. West of the Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, LLC took part in the Celebrity Sheep Showing at the Seneca County Fair! 🐑

It was his first time showing an animal and he took home 6th place! 🙌🏻🤣

🌟 Mark Cuban on Direct Primary Care 🌟

Dr. Shane Purcell, Treasurer for the Direct Primary Care Alliance, recently interviewed entrepreneur and business leader Mark Cuban and asked for his thoughts on the current state of healthcare and direct primary care.

"You guys [direct primary care physicians] are in a great position, because, I think, more and more research comes out, and data comes out, that, working through a DPC [direct primary care] saves everybody money and improves wellness and care. You guys truly are the right gatekeepers at the right time and it is incredibly affordable," said Mr. Cuban.

Mark Cuban is now utilizing direct primary care physicians to provide for his employees. 👏🏻🩺💙

Healthcare for your employees does not have to be complicated. Direct primary care continues to gain national attention because it realigns healthcare around what matters most... the patient-physician relationship.

Dr. Zachary K. West and the staff of the Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, LLC will be at the 184th Seneca County Fair which takes place from Monday, July 26th through Sunday, August 2nd!

The Seneca County Collaborative and the Seneca County Fair will feature a Chamber & Development Member Showcase providing an opportunity for member businesses to promote their services, network with fairgoers and increase local visibility!

The Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine booth will be located in the Kneeskern Building (Please see attached map).

Be sure to stop by and learn about all of the great services offered at the Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine! We will have promotional items to give away and plenty of information to share about the practice!
