Mental Health Monday 🧠

It’s okay to not be okay all the time. Try this grounding skill:
Name 5 things you see, 4 you feel, 3 you hear, 2 you smell, 1 you taste. This can help bring you back to the present.

More About Me

Along with being a part-time clinician at Karin Mobley, LLC, I am also a School Social Worker. I am passionate about supporting youth, families, and individuals as they navigate life’s challenges.

Prior to becoming a School Social Worker, I worked as a case manager for a community-based mental and behavioral health agency. Throughout my years in case management and social work, including in school settings, I’ve learned that everyone has a story, and sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer is compassion, understanding, and a safe place to be heard.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my kids, family, and friends; reading; enjoying the outdoors; working on puzzles; or finding small moments of peace with a cup of coffee. I love animals, new experiences, and being outside. I also enjoy serving on local boards and committees that help strengthen and support our community.

I am grateful to be part of the team at Karin Mobley, LLC and look forward to supporting clients as they work toward growth, healing, and their goals.

Setting healthy boundaries is an important part of taking care of your mental health and avoiding burnout. Remember, it's okay to:

βœ… Ask for help and delegate when needed
βœ… Say no without feeling guilty
βœ… Make time for self-care and rest

Taking care of yourself helps you show up as your best self for others, too.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out for support. Sometimes having someone to talk to can make a big difference.
If your child or teen is struggling with stress, anxiety, school challenges, family concerns, or other life stressors, counseling may help.
