We loved welcoming 4th-grade students from Noble Elementary for a special hospital tour earlier this month.

Throughout the school year, two of our hospital professionals had the opportunity to work with the students through the REACH program — a year-long initiative focused on developing important success skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and treating others with respect.

To conclude the program, students visited the hospital to explore careers in health care and gain a better understanding of the many roles that contribute to patient care and community wellness.

We are always grateful for opportunities to engage with our community and inspire the next generation of health care professionals and leaders.

Empowering our community, one conversation at a time! Our occupational therapists spoke at a Stroke Support Group hosted at Mercy Health — Tiffin Hospital. Our therapists are always eager to give back to the community, sharing their expertise to help improve outcomes and quality of life for the patients and communities we serve.

Interested in joining the conversation? Our Stroke Support Group meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. (excluding holiday weeks) in the McMullen Conference Room at Mercy Health — Tiffin Hospital.

We look forward to continuing to learn, connect, and support one another.

This skilled and compassionate team plays a vital role in diagnosis, treatment and healing, delivering timely, reliable results that help providers make informed decisions and give patients peace of mind. Their work may often happen out of sight, but its impact is felt in nearly every patient interaction across the hospital.

Recently, the team found a lighthearted way to share their commitment to care by creating a Toy Story—themed display in the hospital, showcasing both their creativity and teamwork. With the artistic talents of lab associate Dani Huffman, the display brought smiles to patients and visitors while offering a glimpse into the important role the lab plays in patient care.

Beyond the decorations, the laboratory team remains focused on what matters most—supporting patients and caregivers through collaboration, education and attention to detail. By helping other departments better understand the lab’s role in diagnosis and treatment, the team strengthens the overall care experience for every patient they serve.

Today we celebrate the joyous feast of Easter, commemorating that first Easter Sunday when you raised your son Jesus from the grave to enjoy new and everlasting life. In the midst of the crosses we bear through life, may our celebration of Jesus’ resurrection renew us in faith, strengthen us in hope, and inspire within us a greater commitment to love generously and courageously. Open our hearts to the gift of your Spirit, that we might aspire to live in the light of the newness of life and love your son’s resurrection makes possible. We make this prayer through Christ our risen Lord.

We are proud to continue our support of the Seneca County Student Career Day at Tiffin Columbian High School. Each year, this impactful event brings together approximately 1,000 students from seven schools, creating valuable opportunities for connection, learning and inspiration.

It is always a rewarding experience to collaborate with fellow organizations to help shape the future workforce. We had the privilege of engaging with students interested in health care careers—providing meaningful insights into various career pathways and offering guidance on the education and training needed to achieve their goals.
