My office is feeling a little more complete! 💚

I’m so excited to finally have some artwork on the walls. I’ve worked hard to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and comfortable for everyone who walks through the door, and I love seeing it all come together.

A special thank-you to my handyman husband and Sunshine & Lew for helping me bring this space to life!

I've been a little quiet on social media lately...

And honestly, that's because I've been busy doing my favorite part of my job—helping my clients. ❤️

Between counseling sessions, insurance paperwork, charting, and keeping up with life at home, social media sometimes takes a back seat. I'm grateful for that because it means people are reaching out for support and making meaningful changes to their health.

Before I move on to a new topic, I wanted to leave you with one final thought from this bean series:

You don't have to overhaul your diet overnight.

Small, consistent changes matter.

Maybe that means:
🫘 Adding black beans to your tacos.
🥗 Tossing chickpeas on a salad.
🍝 Stirring white beans into pasta.
🥣 Adding lentils to soup.
🥕 Snacking on hummus with vegetables.

Nutrition doesn't have to be complicated to make a difference.

If you've been following along these past few weeks, I hope you've been inspired to give beans another chance. They're affordable, versatile, packed with fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals, and research suggests they're one of the foods most consistently associated with longevity.

If you're ready to build healthier eating habits—but you're not sure where to start—I'd love to help. Whether your goal is improving cholesterol, managing diabetes or PCOS, healing your relationship with food, or simply feeling your best, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Thanks for following along with my bean series! 💚

Prepping is officially underway for Third Thursday’s Barking Lot Party. 🐶

I’ll be downtown with dog treats, recipes, and nutrition resources because:✔ dogs deserve treats✔ humans deserve compassion around food✔ nobody needs another diet

Beans are one of the most underrated nutritious foods.

They’re packed with:
✔ Fiber
✔ Plant protein
✔ Iron
✔ Magnesium
✔ Potassium
✔ Folate

And that combination can support:
→ heart health
→ blood sugar regulation
→ digestion
→ fullness and satisfaction

A lot of nutrition advice online focuses on expensive supplements or complicated foods.

But sometimes the most impactful foods are also the simplest—and most affordable.

One of the most consistent findings in nutrition research?

👉 People who live the longest tend to eat beans regularly.

In fact, research has shown that legume intake is one of the strongest dietary predictors of longevity across different populations.

And in areas of the world where people live the longest (often called “Blue Zones”), beans are a daily staple.

Not expensive supplements.
Not complicated diets.

Just simple, consistent habits—like including beans more regularly.

If you’re not sure where to start, this is one of my favorite ways to add them in 👇

If there’s one food I consistently wish my clients ate more of… it’s beans.

And not green beans—
I mean black beans, chickpeas, lentils, pinto beans.

They’re one of the simplest ways to add more fiber, protein, and key nutrients to your day—without overcomplicating things.

But a lot of people either don’t eat them… or think they don’t like them.

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to walk you through why they’re worth revisiting—and how to start adding them in (without it feeling overwhelming).

👇 Are beans part of your routine right now?
