Thank you to the Tiftarea YMCA for supporting the TRMC Foundation through the 16th annual Tour de Tifton and Ilse Boyette Memorial Ride! 🚴💙

Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Ilse Boyette Book Scholarship, which provides annual book scholarships to nontraditional students pursuing their education. We appreciate everyone who participated and helped make a difference in our community.

The TRMC Foundation is proud to donate $20,000 to the Tiftarea YMCA to support its Food for Thought Program and after-school program.

This gift will help nourish and support local children through meals, snacks, tutoring and safe, kid-friendly activities. 💙

The Tift Regional Medical Center Foundation recently honored Andrew Nackashi, DO with the Exceptional Physician Award. Dr. Nackashi is a board-certified general surgeon with South Georgia Surgical who also serves as the Medical Director of the Tift Comprehensive Breast Center and the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at TRMC. This award is presented annually to a Physician who takes PRIDE in their work, which is someone who is professional, respectful, has integrity, diversity and excellence in healthcare.

Kristy Redlinger Stone, PA-C was honored with the Advanced Practice Provider Award. Kristy is a Physician Assistant with the TRMC Anita Stewart Oncology Center. This award is given to an APP who is in a leadership role, has experience, actively motivates, makes a difference, creates a positive work environment and for being a role model to others.

In addition, Kayla Callahan, RN with the Cardiac Step Down Unit as the Jensen Patrick nursing Excellence Award winner. This $1,500 cash award is given to a bedside nurse who goes beyond the basic standards of care. This award is for a nurse who has concern for the welfare and happiness of patients, positive affect on patients, co-workers and physicians and they make a significant contribution to the improvement of health care.
