Did you know: The thyroid is a two-lobed gland in the neck that helps regulate the metabolism. In dogs, the most common thyroid disorder is hypothyroidism (or an underactive thyroid).

What do you call a Maltipoo that's struggling to 💩? Well, we just call him Stormi 🤪 We saw this sweetheart 11 week old because he was straining during potty time.

There are plenty of potential causes of straining to defecate. But when it comes to puppies, parasites are our top concern. That's why we recommend multiple f***l tests (stool checks) throughout the first year (especially if there's a problem)!

During this diagnostic procedure, your veterinarian uses a tiny needle to collect cells from a lump or mass to check for infection, inflammation, or cancerous cells.

Because the needle is so small, most pets only feel a quick pinch, similar to getting a vaccine. After collection, cells are sprayed onto a glass slide and prepped for review.
