When even the NFL is expanding mental health services, it's a reminder that mental health challenges don't discriminate based on success, talent, income, or achievement.

This week, NFL owners approved a new requirement that every team have a full-time mental health clinician on staff, recognizing that mental wellness is just as important as physical health. The decision comes amid growing awareness of the unique mental health struggles athletes face, particularly during injuries, career transitions, and periods of isolation.

The truth is, whether you're a professional athlete, a business owner, a parent, or someone simply trying to navigate life, asking for help is not a sign of weakness...it's a sign of strength.

PTSD doesn't always look the way people expect. It can hide behind a smile, a busy schedule, perfectionism, isolation, irritability, anxiety, or simply doing everything possible to avoid difficult memories.

Millions of people are affected by PTSD, including veterans, first responders, survivors of abuse, accidents, medical trauma, and other life-altering experiences.

Healing is possible. With the right support, people can learn to process trauma, regain a sense of safety, and move forward with hope.

This month, let's help reduce stigma, increase understanding, and remind those who are struggling that they don't have to carry the weight of trauma alone.
