We are saddened to announce the death of Curtis M. Price, age 47, of Endeavor, PA, who died on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in North East, PA, while camping with his family. He was born August 17, 1978, in Titusville, son of the late John A. Price, and Mary A. (Walters) Price who survives in Tionesta with her significant other Robert Pringle.
On October 31, 2006, he married Jennifer R. (Hunter) Price, who survives. Curtis was employed by Tionesta Borough where he worked as their Maintenance Supervisor. He attended North Clarion School. One of his loves was anything to do with cars. He loved to re-build them, work on them…he was well known for his auto mechanic abilities. Curtis was also a “jack of all trades” and would dive into anything to help anyone at any time. It didn’t matter what it was, plumbing, electrical, and of course auto work…. he was always ready to figure out what needed to be done to make something right that would help someone. Curtis was a very selfless, motivated person who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother surviving are a son, C**t M. Price and his fiancé Bree Nicoletti, both of Endeavor; a sister, Tina Attleberger and her husband Greg of St. Marys, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fran Price and Dorty Rathburn; his maternal grandparents, Alfred and Mildred Walters.

We are saddened to announce the death of Frank J. Stapp, age 79, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, who died on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at his home in Tionesta. He was born August 16, 1946, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Mae (Foster) Stapp.
Frank served as a Private in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Europe with the 39th Engineer Group. He retired from City Source in Pittsburgh, where he worked as a truck driver in maintenance. In July of 1990, he married Roberta A. (Balserait) Stapp, who survives. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service at noon on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15210, with Rev. Dr. John Paul Lester officiating. Burial will be alongside his mother at Union Dale Cemetery in Pittsburgh’s North Side. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.

We are saddened to announce the death of Anna M. (Geimer) Lunz, age 91, of Monroeville, PA, formerly of Tionesta, PA, and Troy Hill, PA, who died on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Heritage Grove in Penn Hills, PA. She was born June 3, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (Peiritsch) Geimer.
On March 10, 1953, in Pittsburgh, she married Francis C. Lunz, Sr., who preceded her in death on April 15, 2014. She retired from Zayre’s Department Store in 1989, where she worked in the office of the North Side branch as an invoice auditor. She later worked as a bookkeeper in the office of St. John’s Parish in Tidioute, PA, for 15 years. Anna attended Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Troy Hill, PA, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She also attended St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Tionesta, where she served as a eucharistic minister, sang in the choir, and was active with the Ladies’ Guild. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Tionesta and enjoyed knitting and quilting. She also helped to make quilts for the Ronald McDonald House for many years.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters: Gary F. Lunz and his wife, Jean, of Pittsburgh; Francis C. Lunz, Jr., and his wife, Jean, of Butler, PA; Mary Jo Hills and her husband, Bruce, of Pittsburgh; Mary Ann Goode of Export, PA; and Bernadette A. Stewart and her husband, Eric, of Butler. Eight grandchildren survive, as well as eight great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters: Dorothy Hancock; Claire Dorsch; Joan Pavicic; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Geimer and Rita Razum.
Friends will be received from 10 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 PM at St. Anthony Church, 112 Bridge Street, Tionesta, PA, 16353 with Fr. Joseph Kalinowski officiating. Burial will be alongside her husband at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Tidioute. We are saddened to announce the death of Benjamin J. Maust, age 34, of Chester, VA, formerly of Tionesta, PA, who died on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in Richmond, VA. He was born December 23, 1991, in Franklin, PA, son of Danny L. and Kimberly A. (Elter) Maust of Tionesta, who survive.
Ben attended St. Michael School in Fryburg, PA and St. Stephen School in Oil City, PA, before graduating from Venango Catholic High School in Oil City. He completed his undergraduate education at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, where he studied Arabic and earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology. He went on to earn his master’s degree in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He worked as a psychotherapist for the Cameron K. Gallagher Mental Health Resource Center, a division of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond. In the evenings, he also worked part-time doing counseling via telehealth.
Ben had a natural green thumb and loved taking care of his many plants. He had a special place in his heart for orchids and was currently serving as the treasurer of the Orchid Society of Richmond. Being fluent in three languages, he loved to travel the world, starting with a trip to New Zealand when he was 16. He also enjoyed scuba diving and would often go on dives in the many places he visited.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Landon Maust, of Tionesta. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, including his special aunt Doretta Gardner and her husband, Greg, of Berlin, PA.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert J. and Betty Lou (Hoppert) Maust, and his maternal grandparents, John J. and Mary “Maki” (Spieler) Elter.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service is being planned by his Venango Catholic classmates, to be held in Tionesta on July 25, 2026. Additional details will be announced by the family at a later date. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta. We are saddened to announce the death of Debra Sue (Goodman) Womer, age 70, of Oil City, PA, who died on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. She was born July 13, 1955, in Titusville, PA, daughter of the late Kenneth L. “Jack” and Viola J. (Barker) Goodman.

On January 12, 1985, in Tionesta, PA, she married Robert J. Womer, Jr., who preceded her in death on November 28, 2020.

A self-described homebody and night owl, Debra enjoyed coloring and watching vintage western TV shows. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her dogs. The family will remember her for her love of men’s pajamas, Pepsi, Hershey’s chocolate, Werther’s candy, and will also treasure her homemade ice cream fudge recipe.

She is survived by five daughters: Holly (and the late Bob) Finley of Arnold, PA; Heather Knapp and her husband, John, of Leesburg, VA; Julie Druschel and her husband, Rob, of Beaver, PA; Amy Graham and her husband, Mike, of Oil City; and Samantha Domres of Clarion, PA. Debra is also survived by ten grandchildren: Ranger and Walker Finley; Blu, Oak, and Raspberry Knapp; Alex and Kaden Druschel; and Luke, Cody, and Jessa Graham; as well as one great-granddaughter, Sofia Knapp. Two brothers also survive: Frank Goodman of Franklin and Rodney Goodman and his wife, Sherry, of Oil City, PA; along with several nieces and nephews, and special lifelong friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Alan Walters, on July 20, 2019.

We are saddened to announce the death of Donald J. Reiland, age 81, of Tionesta, PA, who died on Monday, May 18, 2026, at his home in Tionesta… “The Reiland Farm”. He was born August 25, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Joseph and Rita (Winschell) Reiland.
He was Catholic by faith and attended All Saints Elementary School followed by attending and graduating from North Catholic High School in 1962, both of Pittsburgh. On July 4, 1964, in Wildwood, PA he married his high school sweetheart, Sharon L. (Stritzinger) Reiland. The couple have been together for 61 years. Don enlisted in the United States Coast Guard serving in Monterey, California; Kodiak, Alaska; St Petersburg and Jacksonville, Florida. His rank was Yeoman Second Class. After his military discharge he attended Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh.
In 1976 Don and his wife moved to the family farm in Forest County. He enjoyed building barns, raising livestock…especially Llamas, and “making hay”. He worked for many companies in their respective engineering departments including Conair and retiring from Joy Manufacturing, both in Franklin, PA. Don was an active member with the Tionesta Amvets Post #113.
Surviving in addition to his wife Sharon is a son, David Andrew Reiland, who lives at home. One daughter-in-law, Michele L. Reiland of Erie, PA, and grandchildren Kristin, Julia, and Andrew. One brother, Richard Reiland and his wife Marjorie of Gibsonia, PA. One sister, Kathy Arndt of Pittsburgh. One sister-in-law, Kathy Reiland. Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith F. Reiland. A brother, David Reiland.
Friends will be received at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 10 am to 11 am followed by a service at 11 am. Burial will be at Neiltown Cemetery in Neiltown, Harmony Township, Forest County, PA.

We are saddened to announce the death of Virgil L. “Skip” Flick, age 88, of Tionesta, PA, who died on Tuesday evening, April 28, 2026, at his home in Tionesta. He was born June 28, 1937, in Olean, NY, son of the late Frank E. and Ruth A. (Seigworth) Flick.
On June 29, 1957, at the Tionesta United Methodist Church, he married B. Jane (Williams) Flick, who survives. He worked at the West Hickory Tannery and G.G. Greens in Warren, PA, before retiring at age 55 from the United States Forest Service Forestry Sciences Laboratory in Irvine, PA, where he was a research technician for 31 years. Virgil was a member of the Tionesta United Methodist Church. He was a past president and honorary lifetime member of the Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department, where he also spent many years calling bingo. He also served with the Tionesta Ambulance Service as a driver for 35 years.
In his younger years, Virgil played baseball and basketball and was a member of the high school band. He continued his love of athletics into adulthood, playing baseball and slow-pitch softball at Hydetown Field and remaining an avid bowler into his forties. In later years, he found great joy in the outdoors, especially in hunting in the West Hickory area and fishing trips to Canada, where he spent 35 years making lasting memories with friends and family. He also enjoyed playing dominoes and cards with friends, visiting casinos, and playing golf.
In addition to his wife, Jane, he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly J. Perrett and her husband, David, of Tionesta; his granddaughter, Danielle Hoffman and her husband, Brandon, of Tionesta; his grandson, Dustin “Bud” Perrett of Tionesta; two bonus grandchildren: Alex Smail and his wife, Shannon, of Fryburg, PA, and their children Reece and Abigail, and Nic Smail and his wife, Taylor, of Wasilla, AK, and their daughter Gwen; and two great grandchildren, C**ton Charles Whitton and Eleanor Jay Hoffman, both of Tionesta. He is also survived by his brother, Donald A. Flick and his wife, Shirley, of Beaver Falls, PA; his sister-in-law, Laura Flick of Tionesta; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters: William Flick, Helen Sweet, Betty Bowen, and Doris Tucker.
Friends will be received from 11 AM until 2 PM on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta, where funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Pastor David DeGroff, his pastor, officiating. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at the Tionesta United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Tionesta. We are saddened to announce the death of Theadore W. “Ted” Reese, age 74, of Tidioute, PA, formerly of West Hickory, PA, who died on Tuesday morning, April 14, 2026, at the residence of his son in Tidioute. He was born March 29, 1952, in Erie, PA, son of the late James M. and Frances L. (Bunce) Reese.
Ted worked for Oil Creek Plastics in Titusville, PA for many years before retiring. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. In his free time, he enjoyed playing tennis, as well as spending time outdoors trapping, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Trevis J. Reese and his wife Jennifer of Tidioute; his daughter, Tonya K. Southwick and her significant other Jake Antill of Titusville. Four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is the mother of his children, Francie Reese and her significant other Steve Rainey of Titusville. Two sisters, Faye Taylor and her husband Rodney of Tionesta; Margie Miller of West Hickory.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael “Mike” Reese.

We are saddened to announce the death of Russell L. Allio, Age 88, of Tionesta, PA, who passed into the arms of Jesus on April 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 10, 1938, in Red Brush, Forest County, PA. Russell was the son of the late Joseph L. “Lloyd” Allio and Mary S. Sibble Allio.
He is survived by three sons: Dale A. Allio and his wife Mary Jane of Tionesta, PA; Brian E. Allio and his wife Natalie of Salida, CO; and Gary R. Allio and his wife Amy of Neiltown, PA. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren: Rachel Previte and her husband Jared; Maria Coblentz and her husband Ryan; Melissa Allio; Rebecca Allio; Craig Allio and his wife Sarah; Sarah Allio and her fiancé Roan Fair; and Lydia Allio. As well as two great grandchildren, Johanna and Joseph Allio, the children of Craig and Sarah Allio; also several nieces and nephews; and a special friend L. Jean Kingston.
On May 11, 1957, Russell married his loving wife, Betty L. Sliker. They were married for 64 wonderful years, before Betty went to be with Jesus on March 19, 2021. In addition to his parents and wife, Russell was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Tammy Allio, whom Russell was looking forward to reuniting with in Heaven; two brothers, Carl and Clyde Allio; and a sister Janet Moore.
Russell proudly served in the US Army reserves from 1957 to 1965. He worked at the Glass Plant in Marienville, then at Continental Can in Oil City, PA, as a shear operator for many years. He also enjoyed woodworking in his shop and enjoyed making things for his grandchildren.
Russell was a faithful servant of the Lord and a longtime member of the Tionesta Church of God. Russell left a wonderful legacy to his family, living out a consistent faith in God and setting a great example for his children and grandchildren in his day to day walk with the Lord. Russell could always be found every morning in his recliner reading his Bible and praying before starting his day. He believed strongly in honoring the Sabbath and resting on Sundays saying, “it was not just another day to work.”
Russell especially enjoyed fishing trips to Canada, where he valued both the sport and the time spent with family and friends. Later he enjoyed the family trips with the grandchildren to Disney in Florida.
Russell will be greatly missed but will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to always look at the bright side of things.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta, and from 10-11 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Tionesta Church of God, 1582 Route 36, Tionesta, PA 16353. Services will be conducted at 11 AM at the church with Rev. Jodi Poorman officiating. Burial will be alongside his wife at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery in Red Brush. We are saddened to announce the death of Warren Frederick “Fred” Patterson, age 83, formerly of Tionesta, PA, more recently of Charleston, West Virginia, who died on Monday, April 6, 2026, in Charleston. He was born November 23, 1942, in Coudersport, PA, son of the late Vivian R. and Mary Shalkowski Patterson.
On September 10, 1966, at the Tionesta United Methodist Church he married Janice L. (Wise) Patterson who recently just passed on March 21, 2026.
Fred proudly served his country in the US Army, Specialist 5th Class, from 1963 – 1967 during Vietnam. He worked for Troyer Farms of Waterford, PA delivering potato chips, and for Walker Dairy of Warren, PA delivering milk. He also worked at Abraxas of Marienville, PA in the maintenance department. He was a devoted member of the Tionesta United Methodist Church and became a member of Elizabeth Memorial United Methodist Church of Charleston after he and his wife moved to be close to family. He was a member of the Tionesta Masonic Olive Temple Lodge #557. He was a Boy Scout leader in the 1980’s in Tionesta, and he loved to garden and working with model electric trains. Moreover, Fred and Jan, who have been married just short of 60 years, loved and enjoyed spending time with each other, and especially loved spending time with their two sons and grandchildren. Fred and Jan were inseparable.
Surviving are two sons, Warren Frederick “Chip” Patterson II of Charleston and Garth E. Patterson and his wife Michelle of Jefferson, Maryland; two grandchildren, Isaac Warren and Abigail Ruth Patterson; and a sister, Laura Flick of Tionesta.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Lin Patterson. A brother, Julian A. Patterson, and a sister, Marcelle P. Hale.
There will no public visitation; a celebration of the lives of Fred and Janice will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta. Burial will be at Mt. Collins Cemetery of Tionesta. Messages of sympathy may be left at www.wimerfuneralhome.com.
