Our residents had the best time celebrating the life and legacy of the incredible Dolly Parton — an icon whose music, kindness, larger-than-life personality, and unmistakable sparkle touched generations. 🎶💎

It was only fitting that we honored Dolly by turning up the music, dressing for the occasion, and adding a whole lot of pink and sparkle to our day! 💗

Here’s to an icon who reminded us to dream big, love bigger, and never be afraid of a little extra fabulous. ✨🎀

Today feels a little less sparkly. 💔✨

Dolly Parton gave the world a lifetime of music, laughter, kindness, and joy. Her songs became the soundtrack to so many lives, including those of generations of residents throughout The Waters.

We’ve sung along to her music, danced to her songs, dressed up in her honor, shared stories about her, and made more than a few wonderful memories along the way.

Today, as we look back on one of those fun-filled Dolly days at The Waters, these photos feel just a little more special. 🤍

Dolly, thank you for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the generosity, the rhinestones, the big hair, the bigger heart, and all the joy you shared with the world.

Today we say goodbye, but we also celebrate one incredible life and a legacy that will live on for generations.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🦋✨

The Waters of Tipton is excited to welcome Chantelle Powell, HFA, as our Clinical Liaison! 👋💙

Chantelle brings 18 years of experience in long-term care to our team. She is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and CNA, giving her a strong understanding of care from many different perspectives.

Born and raised in Tipton, Chantelle is proud to serve the communities close to home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on her daughter, who is a senior this year!

We’re so excited to have Chantelle representing The Waters of Tipton and serving as a resource for our residents, families, referral partners, and community.

Last Friday we celebrated with a fun taste test challenge!

Four of our staff members were blindfolded and put to the test to see if they could tell the real OREO from the fake. There were lots of laughs as everyone tried to guess which cookie was the original!

After the challenge, we all enjoyed digging into our favorite cookie together. It was a sweet way to celebrate the day!

Happy Long-Term Care Administrators Week, Miss Brenda! 🎉

Brenda’s dedication, compassion, and leadership shine through in everything she does and our residents and families absolutely love her!

Miss Brenda began her career as a C.N.A. and QMA and has been a Licensed Administrator since 1998. Throughout her tenure, she has served as a Business Office Manager, consultant, and Administrator Preceptor, sharing her knowledge and passion for long-term care with so many along the way.

Outside of work, Miss Brenda enjoys spending time with her three children and grandchildren. Her hobbies include cooking meals for others and painting. 🎨

Her true passion is the elderly and hearing the stories of their lives and experiences. She believes that if she can make a resident smile, her day is complete. Miss Brenda truly feels that working in long-term care is her calling in life, and we are so grateful for the heart she brings to our community every day. 💙

The Waters of Tipton would like to give a big thank you to the amazing girls from the National Honor Society for spending time with us and helping make our Valentine’s Day Ball extra special! 💖

They generously volunteered their time to do hair and makeup for our ladies, making each one feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated for the evening. It truly meant so much to our residents, and the smiles said it all! 💄✨

We are so grateful for your kindness and the joy you brought to our community. Thank you for helping make the night unforgettable! 💕
