In the early 1970’s, Lee Deshler founded e3 Tele-Acoustics Florida as Florida's first on-site service/calibration provider of hearing diagnostic and vestibular instrumentation. Lee had been working with acoustics during the early days of manned space flight at Cape Canaveral, Florida, and his knowledge allowed him to calibrate audiometers on-site instead of shipping back to the factory. It quickly
became apparent to Lee that by providing on-site service, the customer experience less down time, and thereby was able to continue providing the needed services to their patients.
