NAHCPA is an organization dedicated to broadening the circle of care for patients at the end of life to include Chinese medicine (a system of medicine that includes acupuncture, Chinese herbs, bodywork and numerous other healing modalities). Combining treatments in Chinese Medicine with Hospice and/or Palliative Care leads to significant benefits in patient comfort levels. Safe and effective treat

ments may be used with all forms of terminal illnesses and the wide variety of emotional, physical, mental and spiritual distress patterns associated with death and dying. The National Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncturists offers certification to professional in end-of life care. Upon completing the requirements for certification, the professional may use the titles:
Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture Specialist (CHPCAS), and/or Certified Provider of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture (CPHPCA)

Join us for "Our Relationship with Grief," a special session led by Rainbow Bereavement Coordinator & Chaplain Laura Wessels. During our time together, we’ll explore why expressing grief is essential and offer ideas for honoring our journeys. We’ll even practice one creative way to honor grief as a group.
