💜 Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember. 💜
Attain Behavioral Health would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who welcomed Jess to the Williams County Overdose Awareness event. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside a community committed to remembering those we’ve lost, supporting the families and friends who carry their memory, and reminding those still struggling that hope is possible.
For those of us who work in this field, today is more than a date on the calendar. Behind every statistic is a person. A son or daughter. A mother or father. A sibling, spouse, friend, or loved one whose life mattered and whose absence is felt every single day.
Today, we honor them. 💜
And while we remember those we have lost, we also recommit ourselves to fighting for those who are still here. Every person deserves another chance. Every person deserves compassion. And every person struggling with addiction deserves to know that recovery is possible and that they do not have to walk this road alone.
Thank you to Williams County and everyone who helped make this event possible. Attain is honored to stand with you as we remember, raise awareness, reduce stigma, and continue working toward a future where fewer families have to experience the heartbreak of losing someone to overdose.
We remember those we’ve lost. We support those who are grieving. And we fight for those who are still here. 💜
