On July 6th the staff members from SouthernCare Toledo and Otterbein Portage Valley held a We Honor Veteran Ceremony for Navy WWII veteran Vincent Wilczynski. Vincent was one for first men to land at Normandy. Members of the community donated refreshments for the ceremony. During the ceremony, Vincent was thanked for his services by SouthernCare Hospice Nurse Tera Ungerer, and Tera had the honor of pinning Vincent and presenting Vincent with a Navy Blanket.
