โ๏ธ HEREโS WHAT CAUGHT OUR ATTENTIONโฆ
LCCS has identified 40 strategies for improvement following recommendations from a county child protection task force.
Those changes include improving family visitation spaces, supporting caregivers, and giving families a stronger voice.
Theyโve also established a Family Help Center with an independent Client Rights Office.
๐ Progress? Hopefully!
But thereโs a difference between promising improvements and families actually experiencing them.
Children absolutely deserve protection. But parents also deserve fairness, transparency, and support before situations spiral out of control.
BOTH THINGS CAN BE TRUE!
๐ฌ TOLEDO TRASHIES, LETโS TALK!
Have you ever dealt with Lucas County Children Services?
Were you treated fairly? Did you feel heard? Or do you believe the system needs serious changes?
We want to hear from biological parents, foster parents, caregivers, and even former caseworkers!
Please respect childrenโs privacy when sharing experiences.
