While I appreciate his suggestion of having both of them come for therapy, the reality is that many men refuse to come. Was this the case here? I will never know. I do know that the wife was desperate enough to call and ask for services for herself.

Did anyone notice the things he claims have improved? These are typically things the man wants to have change: her weight, s*x and affection. Does anyone notice what he has changed or improved? Me either!

So what is your diagnosis friends?

This is from the husband of person I never met with.
This is a pretty strong reaction for a Christian husband whose wife never got treatment. Just my phone call alone was pretty threatening to him.

When we are Christians we have been taught that the marriage covenant is above everything! So we do everything we can to make our marriages work, even when we are being destroyed by the emotional coldness, the verbal attacks, the silent treatment, the financial and spiritual abuse, and the tantrums and rage that goes on behind closed doors. When you have prayed and prayed that things would change know that God hates abuse and rescues the oppressed.
