Pain was never meant to be your identity. It was meant to be an indicator.

An indicator that healing was necessary.
An indicator that growth was needed.
An indicator that God was calling you deeper and not trying to push you backwards.

You are not what you went through.
You are who God is shaping you to become.

So many women are walking through life carrying identities that God never gave them.

Labels from past mistakes.
Labels from other people’s opinions.
Labels from seasons they’ve already outgrown.

I know because I've been that woman myself.

But God says something completely different.

Jeremiah 1:5 says, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…”

That means God established your identity before anyone had the chance to mislabel you.

In Matthew 25, the man who received one talent from his master let fear skew his perspective of the power he possessed.

What he didn’t understand is that when God gives you power, it is not purposeful not risky; productive and not punishment; and safely dangerous ( the power will not hurt you or others but has the capacity to build and destroy when necessary).

Don’t let fear keep cause you to not be a good steward of the power God has given you. Will you bury your power or will you use it and watch it grow?
