We came together to learn, reconnect, strengthen our standards, share a few laughs, enjoy some good food, and refocus on what matters most—the individuals we have the privilege of serving.

Last week, we celebrated a very special birthday here at Helping Hands of Ohio! 🥳

We may be a little late making it Facebook official — because apparently time really does fly when you’re busy doing the work AND having fun! 😂 — but we couldn’t let the moment pass without showing some love to one of our amazing Admin Team members.

Her team made sure she felt celebrated with a beautiful surprise filled with cake, food, decorations, music, gifts, laughter, and lots of love. 🎈🎶🎁

Sometimes the best celebrations don’t happen the way we planned… but they become even more meaningful. 💙

Yesterday, our Helping Hands of Ohio family came together to celebrate one of our amazing ADS team members with a Toy Story-themed baby shower. While preparing for her special day, she unexpectedly experienced a medical scare and was admitted to the hospital.

Instead of canceling, we brought the celebration to her virtually. She was able to see the beautiful decorations, feel the love from her coworkers, and know that she was surrounded by a team that truly cares.

At Helping Hands, we believe we’re more than coworkers—we’re family. We’re grateful that mom and baby are being cared for, and we continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations, Mom! We can’t wait to meet your little cowboy. 🤠💙🍼

🎢❤️ A Day of Smiles, Inclusion & Unforgettable Memories ❤️🎢

Helping Hands of Ohio traded our daily routines for roller coasters, laughter, friendship, and fun at Cedar Point!

From riding rides and winning prizes to sharing meals and making memories together, this day was about so much more than an amusement park. It was about community, connection, and creating experiences that remind us all that everyone deserves the opportunity to belong, explore, and enjoy life.

Seeing our individuals, staff, and families smiling together is exactly why we do what we do. These moments build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create memories that will last long after the rides stop.

Thank you to our incredible team, supporters, and individuals who made this trip such a success. We are grateful for every laugh, every photo, and every memory made today.
