We were very happy to help out Phi Delta Epsilon OH Zeta - Ohio State University over the weekend! Dr. Boutros gave a demonstration virtually to dozens of premedical students at Ohio State, describing different suture techniques and answering questions, while the students followed along using their own suture kits!

☀️🏄🏼 SUMMER IS UPON US!!! 🏊‍♂️☀️

It is finally that time of year! Time to bring out the shades, coolers, beach towels, and SUNSCREEN. As COVID cases go down and we learn about the benefits of gathering outside instead of inside,we know you cannot wait to enjoy some of your favorite outdoor activities. Everyone appreciates a good tan, but UV rays are extra strong during the next couple months and can be extremely damaging to your skin! We recommend a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 and do not forget to reapply it multiple times during the day. Remember, it is not necessary to get sunburned just to get suntanned.

That being said, summer is also a great time to get your recommended annual skin check! We want to be sure to help you catch any unusual spots that have the potential to get in the way of your fun! We want to make sure you can go outdoors knowing your skin is healthy and there is no preexisting condition that could be worsened by the sun. Be worry free in regards to your skincare this summer and call us to schedule an appointment, they are filling up fast!

Dear Renaissance Dermatology Family,

We are faced with a difficult decision regarding the status of our practice during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). For the time being, our practice is continuing to function on our normal schedule, with extra measures taken to minimize the risk this virus presents. We ask that if you feel sick, if you have been around someone who is, or if you have recently been to an area with many cases of the coronavirus, please refrain from coming to your appointment for the time being. Please call us at (419) 824-2288 and we will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date. As valuable as you and your visit to our office are to us, we are trying to keep everyone safe and healthy.

We are aware of the "Stay at Home" order that will be put into effect for the state of Ohio tomorrow night. In the coming 24 hours, we will be discussing how this matter will be handled. Appointments regarding urgent matters will likely still happen. Other appointments will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine the necessity. Please pay attention to our Facebook, Twitter, or our website for an announcement in the coming days regarding our formal plan of action.
