ACTIVITIES: Our activities are based on your loved one's personal interests and past experiences. Whether it's our home-cooked meals or fun activities, Arbor Rose is a

beautiful, small home where life can be lived and enjoyed to its fullest. SERVICES AND FEATURES: Private suites or rooms with private full bath, cable/internet, one all-inclusive fee, ethnic and cultural food choices, housekeeping and laundry services, 24-hour help with activities of daily living (ADL's) such as dressing, bathing and cooking, medication management, and scheduled transportation services for local area doctor visits (wheelchair accessible vehicle provided).

Art has a beautiful way of meeting us exactly where we are. 💜

During our visit to the art museum, our residents experienced so many different forms of creativity from the colorful textures of a crocheted coral reef, to Rest Lab: Path, which invited us to slow down and experience movement and rest in our own way, to Spinning the Traces, a piece rooted in community, place, and preserving the stories of a town that has disappeared.

Different artists. Different places. Different generations. Different stories. Yet somehow, art creates a space where all walks of life can connect.

For our residents, a color, texture, movement, or piece of art can spark curiosity, conversation, emotion and sometimes even a memory. That is what made this outing so special. We weren’t simply looking at art; we were experiencing it together. 💜

Because even when memories change, our ability to feel, wonder, create, and connect remains.

“Cultural memory rises to the surface…” 🤍

That line felt especially meaningful for Memory Haven.

With Alzheimer’s, memories may become harder to reach, but they are still part of the person their stories, experiences, relationships, and the life they’ve lived. Sometimes a familiar song, a piece of art, a color, or simply being together can bring something beautiful back to the surface.

Today at the art museum was about more than looking at art. It was about connection, conversation, and creating new moments worth remembering. 💜

At Memory Haven, we honor the memories that remain, the ones that come and go, and most importantly, the person behind them all.
