Eight years….

Today marks 8 years since I took over from the Rumsey’s and we became Bowman Chiropractic, which honestly feels a little impossible.

In some ways, it feels like I’ve only been here for a few years. In other ways, I’m pretty sure I’ve been doing this for about 30. 😂

Over the last eight years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many people and families in this community, and I don’t take that trust lightly. Thank you for trusting me with your health, for allowing me to help keep you moving and functioning at the highest level possible, and for trusting me to recognize when something is bigger than what belongs in my office and help get you into the best hands possible.

That has always been one of the biggest things I want my patients to know: I’m in your corner. Whether that means chiropractic care, helping you work through an injury, keeping you doing the things you love, or helping navigate the next step when something needs more attention.

I’m incredibly thankful for every patient who has walked through our doors, every referral, every kind word, every bit of patience through the busy seasons, and every person who has supported Bowman Chiropractic along the way.

Eight years has brought a whole lot of growth, learning, change, chaos, laughter, long days, and some really rewarding moments.

I’m looking forward to many more years of taking care of this community.

Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for supporting this little office. And thank you for letting me do what I love every day. 💙

⚠️ ATTENTION INSURANCE PATIENTS ⚠️

We have recently been made aware that at least one Security Health Plan Advantage plan will no longer include chiropractic coverage for 2027.

At this time, we do not know whether this affects one specific plan or multiple plans, and we have not received any additional information beyond what has been brought to our attention.

With health insurance shopping season here, we strongly encourage you to carefully review your 2027 benefits and specifically ask about chiropractic coverage before choosing or renewing a plan. We don’t want anyone caught off guard in January by a benefit change they weren’t expecting.

👉🏻There is another important piece we are still trying to clarify: depending on the insurance plan and its rules, there are situations where we may not be permitted to treat a patient at our office if their plan does not include chiropractic benefits, even if the patient would otherwise like to self-pay. We do not yet know how this particular change will be handled or what options may be available.

For now, we simply want our patients to be aware and to ask questions while comparing plans.

As a reminder regarding our current insurance participation:

• We are out of network with Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire.
• We are currently in network with most other major insurance companies.

If you receive notice that your insurance company, network, or benefits are changing for 2027, please let us know. We are happy to look into whether we are in network and, when appropriate, explore becoming in network if a change may affect a significant number of our patients.

Thank you for staying on top of your insurance benefits and helping us stay informed as plans continue to change!

🎉 Great news! Our schedule is officially back into controlled chaos mode — which means we actually have some openings! 🙌

We currently have availability for same-day and next-day appointments, plus room to get new patients scheduled in a timely fashion this week.

If you’ve been meaning to get in for care, now is a great time to give us a call and get on the schedule!

And a huge THANK YOU to everyone for your patience and flexibility through the chaos of the last few weeks. We appreciate you! 💙
