As we begin another school year, we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to Ms. Pansy Wade and Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) for their incredibly generous donation of backpacks and school supplies for every youth at Kismet Residential Treatment Center.
Your kindness provided much more than supplies. You helped ensure that each of our girls could begin the school year feeling prepared, supported, confident, and excited about what lies ahead.
This beautiful gesture is also just one of the many ways TLOD has continued to pour into the youth of Kismet. Over time, TLOD has generously donated so many other items to support our girls and help meet their needs. We do not take your continued kindness, generosity, and commitment to our youth for granted. We see it, we appreciate it, and we are truly grateful for ALL that you do.
For youth in foster care, having people consistently show up for them matters. Every donation and every act of kindness sends an important message: You are seen. You are valued. You are supported. And there are people in your community who believe in your future.
Ms. Wade and the Ladies of TLOD, thank you for continuing to show up for our girls, investing in their futures, and helping us create meaningful experiences and opportunities for them. Your generosity is a beautiful example of what happens when a community comes together to uplift its youth.
Because of you, our girls walked into this school year not only with backpacks filled with supplies, but also with another reminder that their village is standing behind them and cheering them on.
From the entire Kismet Residential Treatment Center family, thank you for being such a blessing to our youth, not only at the beginning of this school year, but throughout the year and in so many different ways.
It truly takes a village, and we are incredibly grateful that Ms. Pansy Wade and TLOD continues to be a part of ours.
