Brandy Brock, LMFT, Marriage and Family Therapist Life isn’t always easy & you don’t have to figure it out alone. Hi, I'm Brandy! I'm so glad you're here. I'm so glad you're here!

I’m here to share encouragement, practical tools, and workout encouragement to remind you that it’s not about the physical appearance, but about all the small successes that others can’t see. I believe everyone deserves a place where they feel safe, heard, and accepted especially during life's most challenging seasons. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, parenting, i

nfertility, postpartum changes, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don't have to face it alone. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDR-trained therapist, I have the privilege of working with individuals, couples, families, and women's groups throughout Texas. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection, self-awareness, and hope. Every person's story is unique, and I strive to create a space where you can feel comfortable being exactly who you are. Before becoming a therapist, I worked alongside children and families involved in foster care and crisis intervention, experiences that deepened my understanding of resilience, relationships, and the lasting impact of trauma. Those experiences continue to shape the compassionate care I provide today. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, being outdoors, and appreciating life's simple moments. This page is all about encouragement, practical mental health tips, relationship insights, self-reflection, and weekly blogs to support you wherever you are in your journey. Follow along for frequent inspiration and resources to help you grow, heal, and strengthen your relationships. Please remember that the information shared here is for education and encouragement and isn't a substitute for therapy. If you are in Texas and you are ready for more personalized support, feel free to send me a message or visit my website to learn more about working together. If you're outside of Texas, I hope you'll connect with a trusted mental health professional in your area. No matter where you are in your journey, I hope this page reminds you that healing is possible, hope is real, and you are never alone. Click on my bio: https://bio.site/EmpoweringMinds_BrandyBrock

The way we respond and communicate with others is such an important part of our role in their lives. Be the one who builds them up, even when it is hard. Your words may be the very thing that creates healthy change in someone else's life (and maybe even your own).

One way we show someone they can trust us is by following through on what we say we will do. Our words matter, but our actions show people whether they can depend on us. When we make a promise, following through helps build trust, safety, and confidence in our relationships.

I have been married for a while, and I know how easy it can be to think, "My partner should just know." Or maybe it's, "I already know what is going to happen." "I already know what they're going to say." "I already know how they're going to respond." So w

Assumptions can be toxic. Instead of assuming you know or your partner knows, be curious and ask questions. We can't always know what the other person is thinking or feeling. Asking allows us to connect, communicate, and build trust instead of creating stories in our heads about what we think is happening.

For some people, listening is the hardest part of a conversation. Listening doesn't mean you have to sit quietly, it means you should be curious about the other person's world. Ask questions. Seek to understand. Put aside what you want to say next and connect with what they are actually trying to tell you. Sometimes, feeling truly heard is one of the greatest ways we can show someone we care.

Friendship is at the heart of a strong relationship. I hear often how couples feel more like roommates than partners. Sometimes, we need to slow down and remember why we chose our partner. Love isn't just something we feel, it's something we continue to choose and nurture.

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Not necessarily physically, but in the depths of the eyes staring back at you. Who is that person? What about that person do you admire? What makes you want to be friends with them? What would you say to that person if they were sitting across from you?

We are often quick to give kindness, encouragement, and forgiveness to the people we love, but somehow we forget to give those same things to ourselves. Talk to yourself like you would your best friend. Celebrate your wins, forgive your mistakes, and give yourself permission to keep learning. You deserve your own compassion, too.
