Dr. Michael Fuentes and Dr. Christopher Thompson. Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Fuentes was born and raised in Houston, TX.

Specializing in wisdom teeth, dental implants, and advanced oral surgery care. Thank you for visiting Spring Cypress Oral Surgery and Implant Center. Dr. Michael Fuentes received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. In 2002, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston. He completed his

residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center and Methodist Hospital, where he was extensively trained in all aspects of oral and facial surgery. Dr. Fuentes is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. His practice interests include dental implants, dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth and extractions), facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, and the treatment of oral and facial pathology. Dr. Fuentes prides himself on using state of the art technology to perform minimally invasive procedures. He currently lives in Spring with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, Dr. Fuentes enjoys spending time with his family and friends, coaching baseball, fishing, and watching Aggie Football.

INTERN SPOTLIGHT - BLAIRE:
Each summer, our internship program gives college students pursuing careers in healthcare the opportunity to step inside the world of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Our interns become part of our team, gaining firsthand exposure to patient care, surgery, and the day to day workings of a busy surgical practice.

This summer, we had the pleasure of welcoming Blaire! She joined us after completing her freshman year at SFA, where she is pursuing a degree in nursing. In addition to her studies, Blaire works as a phlebotomist at a local hospital.

Blaire has been an absolute ray of light in our office. She jumped right in, was eager to learn, and brought the sweetest energy to our team every day.

One of the things we are most proud of about our internship program is having the opportunity to invest in the next generation of healthcare professionals. We are honored to be a small part of Blaire’s story and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in nursing school and beyond!
