We are excited to welcome Kristen, a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Rutgers University, to our pelvic health team for the next 16 weeks! Kristen will graduate in May of 2027 and has an interest in pelvic health as a specialty.

Back pain doesn’t always need more stretching—sometimes it needs gentle movement, mobility, and motor control.

After recently irritating her back, Bri used this simple movement routine to help decrease sensitivity and get things moving again:

•Cat-cow with a focus on pelvic movement
•Side-to-side pelvic movement
•Controlled circles in both directions
•Child’s pose rocks
•Gentle angled movements toward each side

The goal is to keep the area moving, warm, and comfortable without forcing through pain.

Important: This routine was appropriate for Bri’s specific symptoms. Her pain stayed in her back and did not travel down her leg. If you’re experiencing pain that radiates into your leg, numbness, tingling, weakness, or other concerning symptoms, this may not be the right routine for you.

It is also important to remember that the video is sped up; take your time and breathe through each movement and stretch, move at your own pace.

Your back pain deserves an individualized approach.

Words can’t fully describe how amazing our PTs are… but we tried!

This National Physical Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the people behind the care — the ones who are knowledgeable, compassionate, dedicated, encouraging, hardworking, and always ready to make a difference. šŸ’œ

Every patient brings a different challenge, and our therapists bring their expertise, creativity, and heart to every session.

We’re so grateful for everything you do for our patients, our practice, and each other. Thank you for being the incredible PTs that you are! 🫶

Happy National Physical Therapy Month to our amazing team! šŸŽ‰

Breast Cancer Awareness MonthšŸ’•

Breast cancer treatment can affect so much more than the breast itself. Surgery, radiation, reconstruction, and hormonal changes can impact mobility, scar tissue, posture, breathing, strength, and even pelvic health.

As pelvic floor physical therapists, we want to remind you that symptoms like pelvic pain, urinary or bowel changes, discomfort with intimacy, or changes in how your core and pelvic floor function are worth talking about.

Your recovery deserves attention from head to toe.

This month, we’re honoring those affected by breast cancer and reminding survivors that support doesn’t stop when treatment ends.

šŸŽ€ Your body has been through a lot. You deserve care through every stage of recovery.

When your favorite PT is booked and busy.

No worries, we found a solution!

Just put their face on someone else…. Just kidding!

We love when our patients feel comfortable, connected, and confident with their therapist—but sometimes the best plan is finding the right teammate who can keep you moving toward your goals while your favorite PT is booked!

Teamwork makes the dream work! šŸ’œ
