Still skipping sunscreen because it’s “just Memorial Day weekend”? ☀ Bad idea.

One weekend of intense sun exposure and sunburn can contribute to long-term skin damage that builds over years — and increases your risk for melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.

Melanoma doesn’t care if you’re at the beach, on the boat, at a BBQ, or “only outside for a little while.” UV exposure adds up fast, especially during the start of summer when people spend more time outdoors.

This is your reminder to:
✔ Wear SPF daily
✔ Reapply every 2 hours
✔ Protect your skin even on cloudy days
✔ Get yearly skin checks

Healthy skin starts with prevention. Enjoy the weekend — just don’t forget the sunscreen!đŸ§ŽđŸ«¶đŸ»đŸ˜

Sun damage doesn’t happen overnight — it builds quietly over time. Every sunburn, every skipped SPF day, every “just this once” moment leaves a mark beneath the surface.

This Melanoma Awareness Month, remember: protecting your skin is about far more than appearance. Your skin is your body’s largest organ and first line of defense. Caring for it is one of the most important forms of self-care and long-term health protection.

Daily SPF, regular skin checks, and early detection can make a life-changing difference.

If you’ve noticed changing moles, new spots, or simply haven’t had a professional skin exam recently, now is the time. Schedule your skin check through the link in our bio ☀
