Now that the dust has settled, Adele and I wanted to thank you personally for attending one or more of our Community Education Workshops. Without you and the other attendees, there is no community engagement or dialogue and for that, we are grateful. With each workshop, Adele and I had the opportunity to experience what can happen when people from varied walks of life come together to discuss deeply personal issues - it was an important reminder that we never have to navigate these challenging issues alone.

Throughout the past nine months we have explored how we, as sober parents, can carry the hope to our children; we have sought to debunk common myths surrounding relapse; and we have identified the challenges one can face when they attempt to intervene on a loved who is struggling to see their need for help. Each of these focal points provided fertile ground for rich discussion and it is our hope that each workshop helped to provide fresh perspectives, spark family conversation and offer practical tools each attendee could use to promote further personal growth.

While we have completed our first run through these three series, the conversation doesn’t end here. Free Community Workshop!- Supporting The Recovery Process (Workshop 3 of 3)

This workshop will bring the intervention process to life, with a mock presentation where the participants will have an opportunity to experience what is possible when an intervention team of concerned others come together to create this mirror and invite the addicted person, they are concerned for, to make the changes they have begun to make for themselves.
