🩷 Postpartum Psychosis: Know the Signs

Postpartum psychosis is rare but serious, and it can develop rapidly after childbirth. Symptoms may include hallucinations, delusions, severe confusion, paranoia, extreme agitation, or dramatic changes in mood or behavior.

This is not the same as the baby blues and should be treated as a medical emergency. If you notice these signs in yourself or someone you love, seek immediate medical attention and stay with the person until help is available.

Postpartum mental health deserves care, compassion, and prompt support. You are not alone, and recovery is possible.🤍

📞 In the U.S., call or text 988 for crisis support. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

💜 Recovery in September

September is National Recovery Month, a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and progress of those navigating recovery from mental health and substance use challenges. Recovery is not always a straight line, it can look different for everyone and may involve professional support, therapy, community, healthy routines, and meaningful connections.

Recovery is possible. Progress is worth celebrating. And no one has to walk the journey alone. 💜

🍂 September Self-Care

September brings a new season, new routines, and a fresh opportunity to prioritize you. As life gets busy with work, school, family, and everyday responsibilities, remember that self-care doesn't have to be complicated. Make time to rest, move your body, recharge, connect with loved ones, and enjoy moments that help you feel grounded.

This September, don’t just get back into a routine, create one that takes care of you, too.💜✨

💜 September is Su***de Prevention Month

September is Su***de Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, encourage open conversations about mental health, and remind people that support is available. Su***de can affect anyone, and recognizing warning signs and reaching out can make a meaningful difference.

If you’re concerned about someone, check in, listen without judgment, and encourage them to seek support. You don’t need to have all the answers, you just need to be willing to start the conversation.

You matter. Your life matters. And you don’t have to face difficult moments alone. 💜

📞 Call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S.

Your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, sleep, and overall well-being all play a role in mental health. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, or simply feel like something isn’t quite right, seeking support can be an important step toward feeling better.

🧠 Chronic Stress: When Stress Doesn’t Switch Off

Stress is a normal part of life: but when it becomes ongoing, your mind and body may struggle to fully reset. Chronic stress can show up as constant fatigue, irritability, difficulty sleeping, muscle tension, trouble concentrating, or feeling overwhelmed.

Taking time to pause, prioritize sleep and movement, connect with others, and practice relaxation can help support your overall well-being. If stress feels persistent or is interfering with your daily life, reaching out to a mental health professional is a strength, not a failure. 💜
