Our Memory Care residents had a wonderful time enjoying a fun game of Bingo! There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and a little friendly competition along the way. ❤️

We were also happy to welcome Courtney from Bayada for a special Fall Prevention Bingo! 🧡 Courtney combined important fall-safety tips with everyone’s favorite game, making learning about safety both fun and interactive.

A big thank you to Courtney and Bayada for spending time with our residents and helping us keep fall prevention top of mind! 👏

We are getting ready for a “Totally Groovy Week” here at The Havens! 🎉 From the 1950s through the 1980s, we’re traveling through the decades with music, games, glam, costumes, and plenty of fun! 💃🕺

💙 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Havens Family 💙

There are some words that mean more than we can ever truly express. Recently , we received the most beautiful handwritten note from a family member whose father recently made the transition into Memory Care.

Her words are a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do every day. 🥹

Moving into Memory Care can be a big transition—not only for a resident, but for their entire family. Knowing that our team has helped make that transition a little easier, helping a loved one feel comfortable, welcomed, and connected, means the world to us.

Watching residents make new friends, share smiles, participate in activities, and build relationships with our staff is what makes this work so incredibly special. ❤️

To the family who took the time to write this heartfelt card: thank you for trusting us with your dad and for allowing us to be part of this new chapter. Your kind words touched every one of us.

And to our amazing Havens team—thank you for the kindness, compassion, patience, and love you show our residents every single day. This is what caregiving is all about. 💙

🕊️ Remembering & Celebrating Those We’ve Loved 🕊️

Today, we held a beautiful memorial event to honor and celebrate our former residents who have passed away over the past year. ❤️

The afternoon began with a touching dove release as we listened to Amazing Grace. Watching the doves soar into the sky was a beautiful symbol of peace, love, and remembrance. 🕊️✨

We then gathered inside for a prayer and shared a few heartfelt words and memories about each of the wonderful people who touched our lives and became part of our Havens family.

Although they may no longer be with us, their memories, smiles, stories, and the impact they made will forever remain in our hearts. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us today to remember, reflect, and celebrate these special lives. They will never be forgotten. 🕊️

It’s Tournament Tuesday at The Havens! The Havens Hoots 🦉 took on the Havens Ravens 🐦‍⬛ in another exciting week of Wii Bowling!

Our Memory Care residents had a ball today playing Fly Swatter Balloon Volleyball! 😂🎈 They grabbed their fly swatters and got ready to keep those balloons flying!

There were plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and great teamwork along the way. ❤️ Watching everyone cheer each other on made this activity even more special!
