π§ Did you know?
Not every headache starts in the head. π€
Some headaches can originate from structures in the neck, a condition known as a cervicogenic headache.
π Research has shown that dysfunction of the neck or cervical spine and surrounding tissues may contribute to headache symptoms in certain individuals.
Studies have also found that conservative treatments such as manual therapy, spinal manipulation, mobilization, and exercise may help reduce headache frequency and intensity.
If you experience headaches along with neck pain, stiffness, or limited range of motion, your neck may be worth evaluating.
