A recent Federation of American Scientists policy memo, co-authored by Ziwei Qi, Ayo Olagoke, and KHI team member Tatiana Lin, highlights how rural proofing can help ensure AI policies and technologies reflect the realities, needs and strengths of rural America — in Kansas and beyond.
The team attended the Source Code: Trust and Fairness launch event at the Capitol, hosted by FAS, and discussed memo findings with stakeholders.
